Auto-location and web analytics
Only when you choose Auto Detect does your browser send exact latitude and longitude to BigDataCloud for reverse geocoding and a city name. Manually entering a city does not trigger this location action.

To understand pilot use, this site anonymously records occurrence counts for site visits, cultural-notes views, completed readings, likes, and gratitude intent. Each record contains only the event type, interface language, and server time. It excludes your question, hexagrams, interpretation content, location, device fingerprint, or identity information. Raw records are retained for no more than 365 days. During the pilot, “Thank ¥0.99” records intent only and does not charge you.
On the production site, six anonymous, metadata-only events are sent to Vercel Analytics for aggregate reporting. The four funnel events are price_offer_viewed, price_cta_clicked, free_pilot_cast_confirmed, and cast_completed. Each event contains only normalized language (zh or en). The first three events measure price intent after seeing ¥0.99; they are not payment events or payment conversion. Outbound analytics events exclude the question, external response, sound, scent, location or city, interpretation, session ID, order, and payment data. The browser generates a random instance ID for each cast only to avoid counting the same successful cast again on retry; the ID is independent of hexagram calculation and is not sent with analytics events. The de-duplication marker is retained alongside retryable history. When the last associated history record is deleted, its ID, de-duplication marker, and retry path are removed together.
reading_liked and gratitude_intent record interaction occurrences for Like and Thank ¥0.99. Gratitude intent is not a payment and does not trigger a charge. Like and gratitude events count interaction occurrences. Each event still contains only normalized language.
Clicking “Save & Share Reading” records one anonymous share-save occurrence. Every click counts once even if you later cancel, image generation fails, or no image reaches the device album. The record contains only the event name and interface language; it excludes the question, hexagrams, interpretation, location, time, sound, scent, external response, image content, and identity information.
